Fresh Wood Fence and Gate Install That Actually Gets Used

Sometimes it's not a massive overhaul that makes the biggest difference - it's the stuff that was just never done right in the first place. A missing or beat-up gate on the side of a house is one of those things you walk past every day and think 'I really need to fix that.' Then months go by. We handle those jobs all the time, and honestly, they're some of our favorites.

Here's what we were working with - a side yard access point between a garage and the property line that had no real closure or privacy barrier. No gate, no finished fence panel. Just an open gap that let anyone walk right through. That's a security issue, a privacy issue, and just an eyesore every time you pull into your own driveway.

We built out a solid wood privacy fence panel and a matching gate to close that gap completely. Fresh lumber, clean dog-ear picket cut at the top, properly framed so it swings and latches the way it's supposed to. The whole thing ties into the structure of the garage and gives the side yard a finished, intentional look instead of an afterthought.

These are the kinds of hardscaping upgrades that pay off immediately. You get privacy. You get security. And the outside of your home just looks more put-together.
